Inspiring travellers to explore Northern Spain


Known for their lush landscapes and rugged coastlines, the four regions of Northern Spain make up an area often referred to as Green Spain. Despite being one of the country's most underrated gems, this region holds countless treasures waiting to be discovered. In collaboration with the Daily Mail, I had the opportunity to showcase the unique qualities of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, and the Basque Country through a campaign promoting Northern Spain. In my role as the Daily Mail's Spanish specialist, I had the privilege of crafting guides and features on behalf of the tourist board to be featured both in print and online publications.

Four regions of Northern Spain are known for their lush landscapes and rugged coastlines. Together they’re referred to as Green Spain, one of the country’s most underrated jewels. This campaign with the Daily Mail was an opportunity to promote what makes Northern Spain so special, exploring the riches of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country. As the Mail’s resident Spanish expert, I wrote the guides and features for the tourist board to appear in both print and digital features.
